Our Work
Projects & Experience
Green Tech Builders and its leadership team bring over 15 years of combined technical and project delivery experience across Liberia. Since incorporation, GTB has completed installations in multiple regions of the country, including healthcare facilities, schools, farms, radio stations, commercial buildings, and private residences. We have delivered solar systems ranging from 4 kW to more than 200 kW for both residential and commercial clients, including Rising Academy Network, the Bowier Trust Foundation, and Nimba Venture Inc.
Prior to forming GTB, our coowners, while working with a nowdefunct renewable energy company, executed solar and electrical projects for organizations such as UNICEF, the International Resource Group, DAI/LCIP, and several Government of Liberia institutions.

Dee Martin Karmah, Sr.
CoOwner & General Manager
Dee Martin is a highly skilled solar and electrical systems expert with more than 18 years of handson experience. Dee Martin has led complex installations across Liberia and trained technicians nationwide. His technical background includes certifications and training in Switzerland, China, Nigeria, and Liberia.
He Currently serves as Maintenance Supervisor at the Liberia Electricity Corporation (LEC).
Sam Sumo
Finance and Administrative Manager
Sam Sumo is an accounting and finance professional with over eight years of experience in financial reporting, auditing, and project administration within Liberia’s energy sector. He has led general accounting operations, strengthened internal controls, ensured IFRS compliance, and managed complex donorfunded project reporting. His expertise spans financial analysis, budgeting, ERP systems, data analytics, and staff training, supported by advanced professional development in IFRS and utility finance, and he is currently sitting for CPA exams in Australia.
Our management team is supported by a highly skilled group of four electrical engineers and technicians with extensive experience across Liberia’s energy sector. Collectively, they bring over a decade of handson expertise in electrical engineering operations and supervision, residential and industrial wiring, electrical maintenance, and renewable energy system design. Their capabilities span solar PV installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and longterm maintenance, as well as substation operations, network inspection, and power distribution support. The team also has a strong track record of delivering onsite technical training for newly commissioned systems, ensuring safe operation and sustainable performance for clients nationwide.
